“Best food in Venice!”
We had the best meal in Venice here. The service was good and there is a live piano player and singer who provides soft, tranquil background music. There is inside seating as well as outdoor, garden seating which is quite charming. The prices were also very reasonable.

“Mangiare bene in un ottimo contesto”
Vado spesso in questo ristorante perché si mangia bene e si spende poco. In questo periodo si mangia fuori sul retro ristorante, atmosfera soft e riservata. I piatti sono ben preparati, pesce fresco e cantina ben fornita. Conto sotto la media di venezia. “Excellent food in shady garden setting”
We visited this restaurant for lunch before leaving Venice. It's situated close to the bus and train station and away from the main tourist area. On the day we had lunch, all the other diners were Italian and we took this as a good sign! The a la carte menu is reasonably expensive but they do a terrific 2 course set lunch for 18 euros. We had a delicious pasta dish followed by grilled scallops. All beautifully prepared and cooked. The main restaurant area is in a shady garden and was a wonderful haven on a hot day. Strongly recommended.

“Unexpected Perfection on food and wine...and the location....”
"Eating outside in lovely garden really enhances the holiday in city like Venice. Additionally, the waiters were lovely and the cichetti excellent and I had the best risotto of my entire trip to Venice, better than many of the expensive, recommended restaurants! It is also in the perfect location for arrival/ departure to/ from the airport for piazazle roma. for first arrival bite or departing dinner before a late night flight! "

“We ate here on our last night in Venice...”
"We ate here on our last night in Venice really just because it was attached to our hotel. We were so blown away at how good an experience we had! It was by far the best meal we have had on our trip and this would have been something like our 20th meal out in a restaurant so far!! It was Monday, they open every day but no one one was there, but we had yummy buffalo mozzarella, complimentary courses, amazing ravioli, duck, tagilatelle..tiramisu and fondant were a perfect ending along with a half of house wine that mysteriously never went down:) guy playing live piano created atmosphere, he was hilarious rather than extremely talented but it was part of the charm....this restaurant should be number 1 of 500 restaurants in Venice for sure. Ciao!! "

“Excellent service”
"The atmosphere was really nice - even though I came early in the evening so the place was practically empty - and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, it was a little too chilly to sit in the back garden, but it looked very nice (I bet it's the perfect place to relax after a day of sight seeing in the summer). I didn't have time for a full menu so I ordered two dishes. The caprese salad was wonderful and the gnocchi main savory and different. In addition I got two small dishes on the house. So in total, the meal was rather cheap "

“A Lucky Discovery”
"Having never been able to navigate Venice efficiently, we came upon this restaurant while searching for another address. The entrance was welcoming but the seating in the garden area behind it was even more so. The staff was quite small but managed to provide individual attention to each customer. From the complimentary soup throughout the evening to the final bill, service progressed at a leisurely pace. Our seafood appetizer was excellent and the veal and pasta dishes we selected were also quite good. While the restaurant is not easy to locate, it offers a fine value and we thoroughly recommend it. “A great find in the north of Venice - do visit!”
"You must visit this restaurant if you get the chance. It is a little off the beaten track but well worth the effort. Most of the seating is in the garden at the back of the restaurant under a huge canopy. The setting is lovely and the food is excellent value for money. You don't often come across this in Venice! After ordering and while waiting for our first course, we were offered a delicious cold soup as an appetiser - on the house!. Our starters were a simple mixed salad and a selection of fish - both extremely well prepared and very tasty. For our main course we chose duck in a rich fruit sauce, and liver. Both were cooked exactly as requetsed, were well presented and delicious. The wine list was varied and probably the most reasonably priced that I saw in Venice. We skipped desert and coffee but were given some handmade biscuits "to try out". They were very good. The total bill, including wine, was 71 euros. I believe this is a new restaurant and would encourage a visit before it becomes better known. Prices are bound to increase. The food was not fast coming to the table and I did wonder if service might suffer were the restaurant to be much busier. However it is probably still feeling its way and I would certainly want to eat there again. "
